COMMITMENT TO EDUCATION
The Rights of Nature Initiative is committed to educating citizens about:
- the rights of nature movement,
- initiative powers in Washington state, and
- using direct democracy to get rights of nature laws passed in Washington state.
TRAININGS
RONI periodically conducts training sessions on rights of nature and direct democracy, frequently collaborating with partner organizations to delve deeper into the issues and training citizens how to be effective advocates.
STRATEGY SESSIONS
RONI also facilitates strategy sessions to develop local initiatives around healthy river ecosystems for healthy communities.
